Securitize Brings 12 U.S. Stocks To Solana With USDC Settlement
Key Points
- Securitize is bringing tokenized shares of 12 U.S. companies, including Apple, Nvidia, Tesla and Microsoft, onto Solana through a product called Securitize Stocks.
- Securitize has issued $4.5 billion in tokenized assets and has already tokenized about $300 million of its own NYSE-listed shares on Solana and Avalanche.
- Eligible investors in the U.S. and Europe will be able to trade all 12 tokens in USDC on Securitize’s Solana platform.
Securitize is bringing tokenized shares of 12 U.S. companies, including Apple, Nvidia and Tesla, onto Solana, with trades settling in USDC. “The opportunity is to bring equities onchain without leaving behind the ownership, investor protections and market infrastructure that make U.S. capital markets work,” Chairman and CEO Carlos Domingo said in a press release shared with CoinDesk. For your wallet, that means a stock token backed one-for-one by a real share, with dividends and voting rights intact, that settles in the USDC you may already hold.
Securitize Stocks Puts 12 Mega-Caps On Solana
Securitize calls the new product Securitize Stocks. It starts with 12 U.S. companies.
The launch puts Securitize in a growing race to make traditional stocks available through crypto trading infrastructure.
Apple, Nvidia, Tesla, Microsoft, Amazon, Alphabet, Meta, Netflix, Circle, Strategy and Palantir are among them.
Trading will start on Securitize’s own Solana-based platform, PropAMM. Jump Trading will provide liquidity, and trades settle in USDC.
Each token is backed one-for-one by an actual share. Securitize says each one keeps the shareholder benefits, including dividends and voting rights.
There is a catch on ownership. The tokens are security entitlements, not a direct line on the company’s shareholder register.
Direct registry ownership may become possible later, once the companies themselves adopt tokenization.
RQD will handle clearing, custody and settlement, connecting the tokens to traditional securities markets.

What Securitize’s $4.5B Track Record Means For Your USDC
Securitize is not new to this. Founded in 2017, the firm has issued $4.5 billion in tokenized assets.
It is best known for issuing BlackRock’s first blockchain-based money market fund. It went public on the New York Stock Exchange in June.
It has also tokenized about $300 million of its own listed shares, available on Solana and Avalanche.
For a DeFi user, this matters less as a Wall Street listing than as a stock token you buy and sell in USDC on a chain you already use.
Access is the filter. Eligible investors in the U.S., Europe and other permitted markets will be able to trade the tokens.
Trading runs during extended market hours at first, with 24/7 access planned. Round-the-clock trading is the promise; this launch does not deliver it on day one.
There is no yield to compare here. These are equity tokens, so your return is the share price plus any dividend the company pays.
The real test is the order book. One platform and one liquidity provider is a thin base for a market in 12 mega-cap stocks.
Before you move USDC, compare tokenized stock venues across DeFi on hours, access and exit routes.

Solana Foundation’s Ducoff And The NYSE, OKXICE Next Step
Nick Ducoff, general manager of institutional at the Solana Foundation, framed the launch as an access play.
“Tokenized equities give investors around the world access to investments they might otherwise never have had the opportunity to participate in, at internet scale,” he said.
The next venues matter more for liquidity. Securitize plans to bring the tokens to the NYSE’s planned 24/7 digital trading platform.
It also plans to list them on the OKXICE Tokenized Securities Venue, a joint venture between NYSE parent Intercontinental Exchange and OKX.
Both expansions depend on those venues launching and meeting regulatory requirements. Neither has a date in the announcement.
The OKX-ICE venture filed this week to bring tokenized stock trading under the SEC’s framework. RWA Insider detailed OKX and ICE’s 63-stock filing when it landed.
The SEC also rolled out an innovation exemption last month, opening a path for new tokenized securities trading venues built on blockchain rails.
Ripple Prime plans to explore institutional uses for the assets.
Watch the collateral question. Wall Street’s tokenization push points toward stocks backing loans in onchain lending markets, but CoinDesk names no lender taking these tokens yet.
If Securitize Stocks reach the NYSE and OKXICE venues around the clock, a USDC wallet gets share-backed liquidity on Solana with real depth behind it. Until then, it is one platform, extended hours and an eligibility check.
Check whether your country counts as a permitted market before you move USDC into a tokenized Apple or Nvidia share.
