$266M Avalanche RWA Surge Hangs On Securitize
Key Points
- Avalanche added $266 million in RWA market capitalization in the 30 days to September 29, more than BNB Chain, Robinhood Chain and X Layer combined.
- Roughly $770 million of Avalanche’s RWA holdings comes through Securitize, about half the chain, and its SECZ token added $132 million in one week.
- A $1,000 wallet hunting tokenized stocks will find the retail crowd on Solana, which added 123,500 holders in a week, not on Avalanche.
Avalanche added $266 million in real-world asset market cap in the 30 days to September 29, more than any other blockchain, but nearly half of that growth traces back to one issuer. CryptoTicker, working from Cryptobriefing data, put the risk plainly: “Growth that comes largely from one position turns around faster than growth drawn from many.” For your wallet, the headline number signals institutional money parking on Avalanche, not a broad retail market you can trade into tomorrow.
Avalanche Tops The 30-Day RWA Growth Table
Cryptobriefing’s data runs from August 30 to September 29. Over that window, Avalanche led every chain with $266 million in added RWA market cap.
BNB Chain came second with $116 million, then Robinhood Chain at $100 million and X Layer at $95 million.
Total RWA value tracked across blockchains rose 15.54% to $3.14 billion in the same period.
Usage grew too. Holder addresses climbed 64.3% to 4.04 million, and addresses moving tokens jumped 115.7% to 3.24 million.
More holders and more transfers point to real on-chain activity, not just bigger balances sitting idle in a few wallets.
The AVAX token followed. CryptoTicker measured it at $11.11 on October 3, up 47.9% over 30 days.
None of this is a new vault or pool. It is a scoreboard of where tokenized stocks and funds landed, and on Avalanche most of them came through one door.

Securitize Holds Half Of Avalanche’s RWA Stack
Here is the catch. Roughly $770 million sits on Avalanche via Securitize, about half of the chain’s entire RWA holdings.
Assets Securitize has deployed there are up 628%, and BlackRock’s BUIDL fund was an early participant.
The sharper driver is Securitize’s own stock. Its SECZ token added $132 million in market cap in a single week, roughly ten times the next largest tokenized stock, per news.Bitcoin.com.
For a DeFi user, this matters less as a chain adoption milestone than as a concentration warning tied to one issuer’s stock.
Holdings tell a different story from growth. The whole tokenized stock market stood at $3.6 billion across 4,555 assets on September 29.
On that count, BNB Chain holds roughly $1.1 billion, Ethereum $773 million, Solana $723 million and Avalanche $428 million, which puts Avalanche fourth.
The data providers do not agree, either. Cryptobriefing put Avalanche’s tokenized equity market cap near $1.7 billion in mid-September, about four times the Token Terminal figure.
The likely gap is definitions, one counting all RWAs and one counting only stocks. Neither publishes a binding definition, so treat both as estimates.

Solana Gets The Retail Wallets, Avalanche The Institutions
In the seven days to September 29, Avalanche added $131.2 million in tokenized equity value.
Solana gained less capital that week but picked up 123,500 new holders. news.Bitcoin.com reads the split as institutions on Avalanche, retail on Solana and Robinhood Chain.
That split decides access. RWA Insider reported in July that SECZ trades only on a whitelist of eligible U.S. investors, so a global $1,000 wallet cannot buy it on a DEX.
Securitize President Brett Redfearn said after that listing that the firm was weighing tokenizing other companies’ IPOs within the next year.
Watch whether new issuers arrive on Avalanche, or whether Securitize keeps supplying most of the growth. You can compare tokenized stock flows across chains as that answer comes in.
CryptoTicker lays out both cases. The bull case is Avalanche becoming the home for regulated assets.
The bear case is that the figures suggest a breadth a single issuer cannot carry alone.
Regulation is the other swing factor. CryptoTicker notes tokenized stocks live on supervisors in the US and the EU permitting them.
Price context cuts both ways. Even after its monthly run, AVAX trades 92.3% below its November 2021 record of $144.96.
Avalanche made September’s biggest RWA move on paper. Whether it holds depends on issuers beyond Securitize showing up, and the next 30-day print will tell.
Check who issued a tokenized stock before you treat a chain’s growth number as your entry signal.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why did Avalanche’s RWA market cap jump in September?
Avalanche added $266 million in RWA market cap in the 30 days to September 29, the most of any chain, according to Cryptobriefing. Nearly half of that increase traces back to a single issuer, Securitize, whose SECZ token added $132 million in one week.
How much of Avalanche’s RWA value comes from Securitize?
Roughly $770 million sits on Avalanche via Securitize, about half of the chain’s entire RWA holdings. Assets Securitize deployed there rose 628%, and BlackRock’s BUIDL fund was an early participant.
Can a $1,000 wallet buy SECZ on Avalanche?
Not if you sit outside the whitelist. RWA Insider reported in July that SECZ is limited to eligible U.S. investors on Securitize’s regulated platform, so it does not trade permissionlessly on a DEX. Retail tokenized stock activity has gathered on Solana, which added 123,500 holders in the week to September 29.
Which blockchain holds the most tokenized stocks?
BNB Chain leads with roughly $1.1 billion, ahead of Ethereum at $773 million and Solana at $723 million, per Token Terminal and RWA Foundation data cited by news.Bitcoin.com. Avalanche ranks fourth at roughly $428 million, and leads only on 30-day growth.
